Technology Rockband vs Guitar Hero III

I have both. 1st had Guitar Hero, thought it was amazing. Now got Rockband, it's even better.

Rockband is awesome, you can play alone or with people, you can play either drums, guitar or sing. I also like more the variety of songs offered on Rockband.

Also, Rock Band has new songs you can get EVERY week, and GH 3 is bullshit, seriously. They add fucking notes to make it difficult.

What do you love to do most on Rock Band? Guitar, singing? Ect.

I'm all about the guitar. I manage to sing too. Can't play drums though I'm really bad at the easy level... don't even wanna try medium LOL

^^Drums were hard for me at first, I'm now doing a career on hard, and it's well, hard.

I play Guitar and Bass on expert, can't sing worth a damn, so I pretty much never do that.

Sorry to bring up an oldie. Only time I played Rock Band previously was a year ago at Best Buy, I had a go on one drum track and I sucked hard lol.

But my step asked me if I wanted to play Rock Band 2 with him.

Me, my brother and step dad spent the whole fucking day playing it. He has LOADS of tracks, as Rockband 2 lets you import tracks from Rockband 1, aswell as all the downloads he has. I kick ass on the bass. Im a little better on the drums than I was last time. Even though it was the 3 of us, we had all 4 things going. Me on bass, my brother on guitar and he did drums and vocals. I'm gonna buy this shit when I go back to the UK.

So Rockband 2 is good? The new Guitar Hero has drums and a mic as well now. I don't know if I'm going to by any of them yet, but if I am i'm not buying both. I'm just wondering which is better at this point.

I'd go for Rock Band 2, like I said, you can import the tracks from Rock Band 1, and if you all ready have Rock Band, you wont need to get the Instruments.
