Jus registered my first domain address and i was jus wondering....
well when i registered it, it made me enter all this personal information like name, address and phone number for the domain address and i notice if you go to whois.com or whatever it is, and u type in the web address it actually shows all that personal information.......i know i can go back and edit all that info but should i? i mean like is it ok if i put wrong info for it?

When people don't want other people to get ahold of that information, they usually open a P.O. box. It's about the only way I know of to keep it from showing. I mean, i'm sure you may be able to ask your hosting company's "support" team if they can do something about it, but they may charge you more. Cheapest way out really is P.O. box or just don't care.. most people just don't care.

Only way of stoping it is, wrong info or sites like godaddy.com (best imo) charge a lil extra to keep it unlisited.

No, it's not. Everybody may grap the domain from you since not you are the owner but "John Doe".
If i request to take over the domain, the host will contact "John Doe" to ask him if I may have the domain.
Plus it's illegal to fake your data there. It must be at least a PO-Box.
