How you liking The Staircase? I watched it a couple years ago then just recently watched the new 3 episodes Netflix put out.
is it worth sticking with?Haha I know! When I first watched it I really liked him but the second time he really pissed me off. But then at the end.....
Oh hell yes. But be prepared to get more pissed offis it worth sticking with?
I tried it. But I find it very slow paced. Is it worth a 2nd try? What do people think of Westworld? I couldn't get my head around it properly at first and it's still a little confusing. I think it's one of those that you understand more the more you watch it and still everything can be turned on it's head with a plot twist. The second season has been better than the first, especially the story telling from different perspectives. I also enjoyed when they were in different eras/settings.
Same, I couldn't get past the 1st episode.I tried it. But I find it very slow paced.
Yeah who is America. I watched that first episode too found it hilariousI watched Season 1 and thought it was ok but I was confused most.of the time. I enjoyed the plot twists.
Then I read the summary of season one just before season 2 started, actually it was a video recap with analysis, and it turns out I didn't even remember or pick up on important details. Season 2 just ended and I had no impulse to watch it. It feels like a brand new show that I know nothing about.
I watched some "older" shows on Netflix, mostly British comedies. Borderline was interesting. Campus was hilarious. There's an Australian web series called Rostered On that has one entertaining season so far.
I got done with season 2 of GLOW which I looked much more than season one. Season one just seemed like a lot of bean flicking about girl power but season two dropped all that shit and made the characters have real problems and issues to deal with. It was much more enjoyable.
That new Sacha Baron Cohen show is also hilarious, though it has only been one episode so far. We Are America? Who is America? I forgot the name. But it's going to be good, I can feel it.
Also on Netflix, Brown Magic is pretty funny too. Indian cast and some real Indian problems.
Yeah who is America. I watched that first episode too found it hilarious
Yeah she was pretty cool. Hot too for an older broad. The woman just willingly gave him her pubes lol
She was proper, too, and didn't act all snobby about the art. "Shit? Sure, go ahead and make some art with it."
I saw a headline about an interview with that woman about that episode and she said she regretted nothing. Way to handle it.
The government dudes that thought guns should be given to toddlers, though...shit. I know it could be a culture thing and many gun owners grew up in a household where guns were normalized and the family was sensitized to the presence of guns and how to handle them, but that does not translate well for the 80%+ of Americans that want those tougher gun laws.
I tried it. But I find it very slow paced. Is it worth a 2nd try?
I’ve started the Handmaid’s Tale. Pretty messed up.
There's a lot of rape yeah? That's why I've stayed away from it.I’ve started the Handmaid’s Tale. Pretty messed up.
