Why the hell on every track is there some guy or girl singing?

I loved the sampling on the single, Holy Are You, but the singing 90% of the rest of the tracks really gets in the way of me enjoying this album.

Thoughts?

what was athe song he was performing back in 06/07 live on stage at the hip-hop honours/awards? it was meant to be a single for his album. dont think it made the final cut or was even released.

anyone have info about this?

Yeah, and it wasn't nearly as good as Ice Cube's one on his War & Peace double...

Which is kind of in line with the point you're getting at..why the hell am I comparing No Doubt sample usage with a Rakim album?

True that, War and Peace was a nice track the way it was sampled.

i tried so hard to like this album, but i just enjoy about 3 tracks of this, the rest is a bore.
his first debut album was so much better.

I like the first 3 tracks and Holy are you, and thats about it, but im gonna listen to it a few more times to try and get into it more.
