On Monday (October 6), R. Kelly was awarded $3.4 million after a judge ordered Leonard Rowe, head of Rowe Entertainment, to pay up after he failed to compensate Kelly for his performances at the Double Up Tour.

According to NME.com, Rowe allegedly sold concert shares to investors, and then lied to them about making a loss.

Last February, R. Kelly (real name: Robert Sylvester Kelly) filed a lawsuit against Rowe Entertainment, while he was still touring.

“I agreed to let Leonard Rowe promote my tour because he convinced me he was an underdog who deserved a chance to prove himself. Like the saying goes, no good deed goes unpunished,” Kelly said in a statement.

Kelly is currently seeking confirmation on the pending $3.4 mil.
