I just got a call from a lawyer representing a company I used to work for 4 years ago (Aldis).. Basically she was representing the company in a lawsuit against a women who claimed to have slipped and fell on a piece of cardboard in the aisle, and because I was the manager on duty, they want me to give a deposition or whatever. So I tell her that I havent even worked for the company since like '03 and I dont have time to drive 40 miles (thats where her office is) to give a statement.. Then she starts saying how if I dont go, I can get supoenaed (however you spell it) and some other stuff she was saying..
So my question is, do I have to go? She represents the company so I'm sure she'll say whatever she can to get me down there.
