pulled over by cops with drugs in car

i just want to know what you would do if you got pulled over and the cops found you had weed in your car.
Would u say not much when they ask you about it?, say you know nothing about it?, or would you talk bullshit to them eg i do smoke but its for stress. . . or yeah you smoke only at home.. its for medicinal purposes. . .

i would probably bullshit to them a little because had no priors or anything and i am at uni and shit and i would never give people up to the fucking cops.

But i nearly do the shit everyday so i drive around alot wrecked. If u did get pulled over they take you in, but all you get here in queensland, australia is a warning and you have a time booked where you watch some video which actually teaches you the right way to smoke. thats aslong as they dont know you been smoking and driving or you would probably lose your license. but i use clear eyes most of the time.

anyway just wanted to know your thoughts on the situation, is it best not to tell the cops anything or bullshit to them (without giving away any details)?

here in T-dot, you get a $50 (CAN) ticket if you get caught with less than a 1/2 ounce. If u get caught with more, you get something more serious. Not sure what it is. 1/2 is a lot of weed. So carrying a 20 sack is like...nothing...

u get criminaly charged becuase they will automatically assume that you are pushing it. u have to go to court to convince them otherwise.

The best thing to do is not to have anything in the car, but the best place to hide shit in a car from my experiance is if you have a sunroof jam it in the frame where the glass goes. Only works for a small amount though.

yep, when a cop asks if you will let him/her search the car, you CAN say no. If a cop wanted to search your person you can also say no. In order for the cop to search your car/person is 1) you let him/her 2) you're arrested.

i've been pulled over many times with various amounts of pot on me. i would always act cool about it like i didnt do anything wrong. majority of the time they let me go with out wanting to search.

one time i got pulled over and i didnt have anything on me at the time but i just got done smoking a blunt and it was like 130 in the morning. i pulled into my subdivision when the lights came on. they were trying really hard to search my car but i kept telling them no. a good excuse for me when i was younger was the car was in my parents name so they would have to get their permission to search. that always worked good for me. most cops dont want to tell your parents why they are searching their kids car and parents dont want to see their kid get into trouble.

if the cops is being cool i'll be straight with them. when i got put on probation for possession, it was obvious that we were smoking , i had buds sticking to my shirt and you could smell when you walked up to the car so their was no use in lying. he didnt take us to jail since we were straight with him. just gave a us a ticket and took everything away.

sometimes you just have to try and use good judgement.

They don't need your permission to search you for weapons. If they do a search for weapons and they find drugs on you your fucked. Don't carry more than you can get rid of.
Leaving shit in open site is enough for reasonable grounds to search the car. They need reasonable cause to search, and don't have to have your permission if they can make that up almost anything can be reasonable grounds. Don't do HOT shit like speed or drive crazy. Make sure your car is in perfect working condition and your car has its inspection and your Tags are strait. Don't drive like an asshole. If you give cops no reason to pull you over your strait. If you get pulled over don't act suspicious. If a cop asks you if you have drugs. You say "I don't do drugs". Don't arouse suspicion by just saying NO. If he/she asked to seach the car tell them No. Don't leave shit out in open site. Don't carry more on your person than you can get rid of.

Well here, if you don't consent to search, they're just gonna haul your ass off to jail and search it anyway. Even so much as a roach, even the tiniest, will get you locked up for possession so the best thing to do is not to even have it on you at all. My kids' dad got stopped one night and had a quarter bag on him so he stuffed it down his pants and when the officer was frisking him, he came up across his crotch and goes "what's this?" and he replies "my dick". The cop didn't say anything and wrote him a ticket for speeding lol
It's better just to be calm and keep your mouth shut. If they ask questions, do what makadon said and be calm about it instead of being quick to say no. The less suspicious you act, the less likely they are to search you unless it's in plain view, in which case you're fucked.

HERE IS A STORY.

i get pulled over with 3 of my homies. my tail light is out and my head light is out. he asks why we got pulled over we said cuz of our lights and then another cop car comes and he comes to the opposite side of the car and says "officer yadda, i smell a strong stench of marijuana coming from the car". They ask if they can search the car we all get out... then we are outside standing up, he asks 3 of my friends if there is anything in the car and they all say no... then he looks at me and asks.... i say yah there is a pipe underneath the passenger side seat. he says everyone get on your knees. my buddy looks at me with the most angry face ever. they talk with us and broke the pipe. he pointed to 3 of us and said that we looked really high and that the driver did not. he let us go with a 100 dollar light ticket.

I have had a few close calls,

once was smokeing in a secluded area near a golf course and construction. We got done and started to pull out and I saw a Motorcycle light in the distance on the street and I said "Probably a motorcycle cop" Sure as shit it was and sure as shit he pulled me over, asked what I was doing back there, I said "I was just checking it out my dad used to fish in that lake" he just ran my shit and let me go without shit.

another time was speeding and smokeing a bowl trying to catch a movie I had smoke in my lungs pipe in my hand and the lights flash at me! I was like fuck! I opend all the windows, sunroof and put the pipe under the seat. he did not even ask about weed just gave me speeding ticket. I was shocked.

oh and another time I was walking the short 2 and a half blocks from my friends house to my own at like umm 2am (I can't sleep on a damn couch when I can make it to my own bed! LOL), when the cop's rolled by and since I am out and the sun is down I guess I am doing wrong( said some bullshit about car's being broken into) I had a Warrent for someother dumb shit and I told them cause I knew they would find out anyway. I said can you let me go? they said "NO!" I said then can we just go to the station? "We have to check it all out first" so they did that for 25 Minutes then told me I did have warrents and they had to take me in.

They asked if I had any gun's,knives,drugs,needles, on me? I said "NO" but I had a 1/4 weed split into seperate bags and a little film can of personal. they patted me down and did not find it, then at the station they patted me down and still did not find it! The few hours I sat in that cell where actully pretty cool, I knew I could get out and smoke a fat joint!
