How do you know what the right amount of weight to be using while using weights and working out? Is it just whatever feels comfortable lifting, or should a person of a certain weight be lifting a certain mass during that excersice? Ive never been totally sure on this, please help out. Thanks

Choose whatever weight you can do 8-10 reps with (approximately, depending on your desired results [definiton vs. mass]) and whatever feels comfortable. pz
-More reps gives you more definition, as opposed to fewer reps, which gains you more overall muscle mass.

i find it easier to start on a low weight 14kg on free weight dumbbells to warm up then wack them up till u can bearly rep them i go for about 20kgs then do as many as u can aim for 30/40 reps helps with definition like no other exercise ive done.

yeah what everyone just said. As long as you can lift it with the correct technique and you can rep about 8-12 (for mass) or 15-20) for definition. it doesn't really matter as long as your shocking the muscle. but it is important to switch things up every couple of weeks. or after every month

Question, can weights help this cat?
