Its been along time since ive dropped a new thread so hope this is worthy.

Being a 2pac fan, im constantly trying to dispell the perception (protrayed by the media mostly) of Pac being a violent, loud mouthed, 'criminal' (the rape case thing) who is only remembered for the some of negative things he might have said or done.

I want to protray pac as a visionary and poet and maybe even more, I feel that in order for people to recognize him as a great writter,it is vital that the important things he said and touched on need to be told.

Please post all proper 2pac quotes in here. when i say proper, i mean things which you may find in some of these quotation books with people shakespear and Machiavelli. So no use profenity. Im looking for quotes that have a good meaning, and the quote has to appear complete, cause some of his lyrics are cool but are better described in the context of a verse. Im looking for 2 sentences maximum.

Good thread, I started one like this too.

I got two quotes from some interviews (can't really remember which)
First: "We trying to use our brain to get out of the ghetto... so we are telling stories and they tend to be violent becuz our world tend to be filled with violence."

Second: "I'm not saying I'm gonna rule the world but I know if I'm keep talking about how dirty it is out here - someone gonna clean it up."

Edit: Another one which I heard on the Mission of a Soldier tape, don't know if it's cut & paste job: "Either we stay like this or somebody sacrifices so we don't stay in a 360 degree deadly circle."

i think the 2nd Verse on "Words 2 My First Born (OG)" is one of the deepest verses he ever laid down... take a sec a really think about what he was talking about.
