I was just watchin' some TV last night and I came across an interessting news.
It said, that Tupac is the best rapper of all time. Jay-Z is second, Biggie third ...
Hail Mary and Dear Mama are the best hip hop songs ever.

Well that's obvious. I don't know about best because to me I see "best" meaning the most flawless at a craft. Someone like Jordan is the best at what he does. To me, there is no such thing in hip hop yet. But so far 2Pac falls in the greatest category with Alis, Jordans, Hulk Hogans, Tiger Woods, etc. But so far, he is the greatest. No other artists has a great body of work like 2pac. And when I say great, I'm not talking about song numbers, I'm talking about hit songs from unofficial albums, unreleased songs, soundtracks, retails, etc. Not to mention work ethic, impact, influence, relevance, skills. 2pac has the whole criteria. So to me he's the greatest.

i'm sorry but jay-z doesnt fall in my top 5 rappers of all-time however he is one of my favorite to listen to his music... i think 2pac, nas, rakim, biggie, and eminem are the greatest rappers of all-time... in that order... although i would rather listen to a jay-z album than a rakim album... just cuz i'm from another generation... but if rakim rapped on a jay-z style beat it would be straight fire...
