some how on my windows xp toolbar it no longer shows minimized windows. if i cant fix this i will probably stop using computers.

does it stay like that all the time? even when you restart it? because that used to happen to me on occasions but it would always return to normal.Its likely that the programs are still running but just arent showing on taskbar. You can toggle between the minimised windows by pressing alt and the tab.

Open 'Control Panel' and select 'Add/Remove Programs'. Check for the program entries
of WinSrvReg and Friend Greetings. If found, uninstall the program
and reboot.

a reboot should do the trick, if not, do what casey said.

i think you ight have killed a process in the task manager. maybe svchost (service host) - i notice that there are many of them - some for internet connections and others to communicate what im guessing to be instructions between software and hardware.

Casey is right, i've heard on Windows forums that its a great fix. You're antivirus may be curious about it though cos viruses often come in .vbs form, but this is safe.

lol how do i open that file. also it was only 2.5 kb

Rename the extension to .vbs and double click on it.

If that doesn't work, try renaming the extension to .reg

If neither of those work, try this:

Download, unzip, run, select your problem from the drop down menu.

lol still not workin, i downloaded that program and then selected the problem, but then when i tried to fix it i got an error. this happened like 3 times
