Why cant they see that not would be smarter to release the next album not in TWO discs but just in 1!!! That way we would have another CD for sth like 2007!! Why do they tell us that this is will be the last album and that its gonna be a double album!! I mean common, isnt that WASTIN' tracks ??? Why do you throw them out like that ??? Why cant we enjoy single CD albums, just as LOYAL TO THE GAME was the case ??_ THAT was a brillant decision.

So,if anyoen feels me and my point, lets join this petition, post your thouhts here if you advocate to have the next album NOT released as a 2 disc set again!! [Common, think logically, that makes no sense to give these tracks out in masses lie AMARU is planning to]

Give some suppport, maybe some of the responsible peope at AMARU will read this thread as they surely visit this forum from time to time....

Peace

You do have quite a good point. I mean if you took the best tracks from UTEOT and Better Days and made them single disc albums... they would probably be classic albums... But Looking back at whats happened they will most probably fuck up on productiom i think....

With double albums it is easier to conceal bad-produced tracks...If they had released all good songs on Better Dayz, which perhaps could fill up one album, what about the leftovers?

THATS A POINT! Double albums TEND to have mediocre tracks due to the huge amount of tracks, its like producers think, 'Ooh, ok, we have so much space we can experiment and even put some not-so-awesoem tracks' on the album as well - NOOOOO!! that is a PAC ALBUM!! Not just somewhere else! EACH OF THEM producers PLUS AMARU has teh responsibility to put only the best effort into any PAc project, especially an music album.. SO instead of releasing another DOUBLE album, take this DOUBLE REASON for not doing so:

1) IF you make only 1 CD, the tracks will most likely be better than (See 1 Disc set like 'STil I Rise') ..cause every single track , producers would have the motivation to sound great and to ALLOW no risks (like it may be teh case on double discs)
2) We dont have that much tracks to handle them like that (2 disc release) this is economically DUMB, too. !!!!!!!!

But I don't think it's necessarily the motivation or whatsoever of the producers, it's just the fact that some tracks of pac, like for example "whatcha gonna do", are less than others. I think no production can cover that up.

Nah, man even if a song is lyrically 'whack', you can produce teh shit out of it due to nowaday'S technical skills, do you really think among all today-valid BANGERS outthere there is no song that gets its recognition mainly becauseof teh tight production? rhetoric question...

no matter how they decide to release it, new album will probably be shit again, loyal isn`t perfect, it isn`t even good, same with BD and UTEOT if they put out 1 disc only, they wouldn`t put there best tracks from those 2 discs, there would be shitty tracks too, don`t count too much on amaru anymore, they don`t know whaa the good music is !!!

You're right it probably will be shit. I can't see them using any of the old producers. Which means we will get more crappy producers who make beats that don't fit Pac's style :(

with a doulble album there is a bigger chance of there being good songs on the album, plus there will be more songs at one go. im happy with a double album

I like those albums mentioned and I think Amaru's decision is logical and exciting...go out with a bang!

thats what im saying, plus on top of everything else, they're probably full of shit when theyre sayin how this is gonna be the last one. Didnt they say the same thing after the UTEOT album or something?

and thats what is so wrong man 'more sonsg at one go'" !!! MAN, this is just wrong.

As some1 said if they took the best tracks off a 1 of the double disc albums they would have classic 1 disc cds. It seems like afeni is just tyred of releasing albums , she just wants to be done with it. Just get all the music out there and just chill...

I dont wanna burst any1s bubble but how many petitions about LTTG did we make? Amuru just pretended they didnt happen.

I hope this album is the next all eyez on me.

If u think about it 2pac would want 2 work with the top producers. But i think he would want to keep his homeboys on tracks Big Syke, Kurupt , fatal , kadafi ,nate ,ect . I know he would never roll wit g unot .

JUST KEEP THE SONGS AS LONG YOUCAN! As far as I am concetned, they could release this nest album in seven years or so

This is the most stupid idea I ever heard.

First of all, this won't be the last album. They say that every time.

I love how you cited Loyal to the Game as your support. That album is obviously the best posthumous release under his name.

And you claim that two disc albums have mediocre tracks because the producers slack on their production? Obviously that didn't happen on Loyal to the Game. The production was first class. No producer slacks on purpose, especially for 2Pac's legacy. Sometimes the beats just don't go over as they thought they would. But shitty production will happen whether there's one or two opportunities for it.

Why would you want to pay $18 each for two CD's when you could pay $24 for a two disc album?

Here's an idea to solve the problem. Pick the songs with Pac's best lyrics and don't let any shitty production fall through. There, problem solved.
