I thought I would share with you guys about Bigg Gibb from the Goodie Mob speaking on Hot 97's morning show. He was talking about how the south never engaged in beefs and even during the coastal days when they were coming up in 95-97.

Bigg Gibb went to go on and even say that Cee-Lo had turned down a collabo with Biggie because of his beef with 2Pac. And how 2Pac called up Outkast to do a song together and how Outkasts turned him down because of his beef with Biggie.

Am I the only one who is late on the turn downs or is this news?

Anyway I've always thought that Outkast recorded with 2pac. And I know about Goodie Mob & 2Pac being in the same recording session at the same time (forgot if they recorded). But how valid is this?

I mean, I've always thought Goodie Mob messed with 2Pac. And I've never been too sure about Outkast, but I did hear slightly that 2Pac made a song with Outkast. And on "Starin Thru My Rearview", I think Edi had made reference to Outkast. I'm not sure if he was shouting out the group or just using outkast as a term.

Someone clear this mess up for me.

^Why is it that some members of Streethop always gives out smart ass replies and unnecessary corrections that don't pertain to the topic. Obviously you know what I meant. Goodness!!

You know what I'll be the bigger man. My fault. If I could edit the posts, I'd put Outkast. Sorry my mistake.

Can we continue with the topic now?

and it's big gipp. for someone who claims to know hip hop so much more than the rest of us you sure whiff on the fundamentals.

Wow, you concluded all that on me just because of two typos.

What you wrote is not a typo. You repeated your mistakes multiple times. The error came about from your lack of knowledge, not a typographical one.

amen.

...plus the fact that every thread you come into you adopt an argumentative stance that is prohibitive to any discussion because you know everything. and coming from a banned member at that.

what a waste of time for the people that are criticizing his typos... who cares... anyway... pac shouts out goodie mob on good life and outkast was on the original version of hit em up but their verses were so wack about biggie flying to outer space, pac had to cut them...

^^^if u think outkast are wack, which is what it seems that ur trying to imply, then u are sadly mistaken. u should really go listen to southernplayalistic, ATLiens, aquemini, stankonia. big boi and andre3000 can both rap but andre3000 is really a lyrical guy. yall need to expamg ur horizons...just because they dont rap then same way as pac doesnt mean that they dont get across just as powerful of a message that he did. listen to songs like "jazzybelle", "gangsta shit", "a day in the life", "aquemini", "hollywood divorce" "skew it on the bar-b" etc. outkast are really good artist, and if the statement about pac wanting to work with them is true then he obviously thought they had some kind of talent...u see goodie mob was chillin with him in the studio and he shouted them out. lets not forget that outkast also was respected and went platinum at the height of the east/west beef...so that tells u something.

And on "Starin Thru My Rearview", I think Edi had made reference to Outkast.

Why do you think that's a reference to Outkast? Outcast is an actual word, and is basically a synonym of outlaw, which is the word EDI raps just before outcast.

Everytime Pac says the word big, he's not necessarily talking about Notorious BIG :D
