One Nation Collaboration

On the Thug Angel DVD Tupac is pictured wearing a Death Row chain, in a studio of somekind, saying he is going to do an East/West Coast colaboration! I didn't think Pac was down with the East coast after the incident in Manhatten. Could someone please explain why Pac would want to do this after getting shot up on the east coast.
