We were good enough against Romania today. The Romanians themselves seemed a bit lacklustre when they had things in their own hands (win and it wouldn't matter what France and Italy did...), so, fuck 'em. lol

Italy - France, yeah well...Ribery out early, red and a penal...not much of a match, I gather.

Spain - Italy should be one fucking quarter final.

France were poor but had some unlucky breaks, Ribery for example. They should not have started Abidal at centre back, he's to small to handle Toni's physical threat. Anyway Toni should have had a hat trick, his finishing was poor but i thought his all round play was pretty good.

Romania must be up there with Greece as the most boring team of the Euro's.

France look ragged, the commentators and analysts are saying it's an end of an era for them. I don't think the problems that bad but they really need some creativity in Midfield, it's dried up since Zidane left.

Toni did some good things but overall was poor. He is too slow. Cassano played some beautiful passes through to him which he should have got onto the end of.He took the ball down well for the penalty, did a very good flick which was only inches wide and was good at knocking down the ball but his shooting was awful.

I thought Cassano was brilliant.He is so good at beating players and as i said above played some wonderful passes.He was playing too deep to get on the score sheet. De Rossi was great as well. I was surprised to see Pirlo going off so early.He will be a loss in the next game.

The sending off changed the game. I dunno why Abidal was playing centre half. I can never understand how this guy was rated so highly. He was France's weak link at the last world cup. He had some decent games for Lyon and then moves to Barcelona where he has been very poor. And then Liverpool were linked with him. i am worried that they might buy him.Bringing on Nasri and then taking him off was unfair. He could have been brave and took off a more established player like Henry or Govou but he opted out.

Ribery was a huge loss.

Benzema did well, they need to play to his strengths. Nasri shouldve stayed on and like Bobby said, take Govou off. Btw I said the same about Abidal, dont France have another CB? Hes barely played there for 2 seasons why play him there in this big match?

Makalele/Thuram/Henry/Coupet/Veira have to be replaced now.
