Tough choice for such a great band but I'm going with Definitely Maybe. Ground breaking classic in my opinion. Supersonic, Cigarettes & Alcohol, Live Forever etc. unforgettable!

Goddamn, now why did you have to go and ask a question like that? I love them all and never get sick of listening to any of them. They all have top quality songs on them and some of the best songs I ever heard. Everybody hates on Be Here Now but i think its great.

Im going for Morning Glory because it has a bit of everything that Oasis are known for, and most importantly it has Dont Look Back in Anger on it which is my most favourite song ever.

Damn you for asking that question and not even giving an "all of the above" option.

They've just sold out MSG in an hour which is pretty sweet. And the new album is due out in May! :D

Oasis are "not that good" Sorry man but that's near blasphamey for me to hear. Definitely Maybe is the album of the 90's.

It's a tough decision between Definitely Maybe and Whats the Story. But I voted Whats the Story, alot to do with Champagne Supernova I think... man I love that song :D

Yes. The Stone Roses have one good song "Fools Gold" and as for the Dandy Warhols! Man they don't even come close to a band like Oasis. Each to his own though.

I'm telling you now Oasis are better than the Stone Roses. I agree that the Verve, the Who etc are all great bands but I personally like Oasis much better.

Live Forever >>>> Fools Gold.

Live forever bores me to tears, il tell you what it is most people on this board are to young to remember the stone roses, thats all it is, if oasis had the imagination of ian brown and someone who could play like john squire then you would be talking, the problem oasis have had since wtsmg is they ran out of ideas, all there songs are the same, you guys forget that even noel says every album they have done since wtsmg is average to say the least, his words not mine, there production is trash, they need to go in a different direction, even they know that, people will still buy there records cuz its oasis, in the last 5 years even robbie williams has been looking down on them, an he is fucin gash. :)

Songbird (Heathen Chemistry) is totally different to anything on Definitely Maybe so I would definitely disagree there. The Stone Roses aren't that old (Fools Gold came out in 1990) but I don't rate them alongside Oasis. As Q magazine said, Definitely Maybe is the album that defines a generation.

You say Definitely Maybe defines a "Brit pop generation" and then proceed to tell me to go buy a Dandy Warhols album? WTF? Very few Oasis songs could be defined as "pop" unlike the Dandy Warhols

I wasnt dissin saying brit pop, but that what everyone calls the british bands of the mid nineties, to call a british band brit pop aint dissin, it aint like saying xzibit turned pop or anything like that, the dandy warhols are one of the coolest bands around.

what's the story (morning glory) is one of my favourite albums and one of the most solid albums ever released. By solid i mean all the tracks are great like michael jackson thiller, acdc back in black and nirvana nevermind.
So my pick is morning glory
