Sorry man but that's near blasphamey for me to hear. Definitely Maybe is the album of the 90's.
Dont belive the hype man,The verve urban hymes or northern soul, the stone roses turns to stone, and there last album second coming is way better than anything oasis have ever done, the dandy warhols come down, an a whole lot of other stuff, do you honestly think oasis are better than the stone roses?Zero Cool said:Oasis are "not that good"Sorry man but that's near blasphamey for me to hear. The stone roses have 1 good songZero Cool said:Yes. The Stone Roses have one good song "Fools Gold" and as for the Dandy Warhols! Man they don't even come close to a band like Oasis. Each to his own though.
thats some crazy shit right there, oasis have said many times if there was no stone roses there would be no oasis! you are the only guy ive ever herd say oasis are better than stone roses, aint no big thing, an by the way fools gold is better than any track oasis have ever done, do you have all of the dandy warhols albums? i dont think you do or you would not be dissin them, oasis are a beatles tribute band, go an listen to the sex pistols never mind the bollocks, when liam saw john lydon at some award show he went up to john an kissed his ass cuz he loves him, an john goes beat it you little kid! liam was like a lost puppy, liam has been copying lydon and ian brown his whole career, the verve are a great band so are the who.stefanwzyga said:The stone roses have 1 good songthats some crazy shit right there, oasis have said many times if there was no stone roses there would be no oasis! you are the only guy ive ever herd say oasis are better than stone roses, aint no big thing, an by the way fools gold is better than any track oasis have ever done, do you have all of the dandy warhols albums? i dont think you do or you would not be dissin them, oasis are a beatles tribute band, go an listen to the sex pistols never mind the bollocks, when liam saw john lydon at some award show he went up to john an kissed his ass cuz he loves him, an john goes beat it you little kid! liam was like a lost puppy, liam has been copying lydon and ian brown his whole career, the verve are a great band so are the who.
Live forever bores me to tears, il tell you what it is most people on this board are to young to remember the stone roses, thats all it is, if oasis had the imagination of ian brown and someone who could play like john squire then you would be talking, the problem oasis have had since wtsmg is they ran out of ideas, all there songs are the same, you guys forget that even noel says every album they have done since wtsmg is average to say the least, his words not mine, there production is trash, they need to go in a different direction, even they know that, people will still buy there records cuz its oasis, in the last 5 years even robbie williams has been looking down on them, an he is fucin gash.Zero Cool said:I'm telling you now Oasis are better than the Stone Roses. I agree that the Verve, the Who etc are all great bands but I personally like Oasis much better.
Live Forever >>>> Fools Gold.

Ye thats true the so called brit pop generation, thats nothing to do with the stone roses, each to there own tho man we could go on all night, i do think you should buy 2 albums stone roses second coming and dandy warhols come down, blaze up a fat one an listen, dont know how you could be listening to hip hop then throw on a oasis album tho, id rather stick on pac c-bo or yuk. :thumb:Zero Cool said:Songbird (Heathen Chemistry) is totally different to anything on Definitely Maybe so I would definitely disagree there. The Stone Roses aren't that old (Fools Gold came out in 1990) but I don't rate them alongside Oasis. As Q magazine said, Definitely Maybe is the album that defines a generation.

I wasnt dissin saying brit pop, but that what everyone calls the british bands of the mid nineties, to call a british band brit pop aint dissin, it aint like saying xzibit turned pop or anything like that, the dandy warhols are one of the coolest bands around.Zero Cool said:You say Definitely Maybe defines a "Brit pop generation" and then proceed to tell me to go buy a Dandy Warhols album? WTF? Very few Oasis songs could be defined as "pop" unlike the Dandy Warhols![]()
