U.K
i was just listening to this and i couldnt figure why this gets so much hate. this really aint that bad a remix cd. these six songs i feel were remixed pretty well

how do u want it
hail mary
life goes on
hit em up
toss it up
never had a friend like me

life goes on was probably the best mix of the cd. the other 4 were pretty shit but still listenable. 6 out of 10 aint that bad as a ratio, when compared to the albums put out by amaru lately, what y'all think?

It's really simple, if someone on this board dropped this it would be pretty hot, but we'd expect something better from a big record label.

:thumb: agreed

og pac fans don't like remixxes... the one i don't get is why they hate Why U Turn On Me (UTEOT RMX)... that track bumps

^lol... it's true but i like the way pac flows on this beat... lol... that is kinda funny that i never noticed that tho... i think his words work better with that beat than on his self-produced OG beat... maybe they coulda chosen a better chorus or none at all

what about When We Ride On Our Enemies OG vs. the BDz Rmx

i think I listened to my Nu-Mixx cd for about a total of 30 minutes... What a waste of 13.99... Never Had A Friend Like me was the only one I liked..

2 of amerikaz most was dope, hit em up was dope, ambitions was good, hearts of men was good, and the rest was decent

i honestly cant say i disliked any of the remixes

I don't think nu-mixx is that bad however i think us fans expect something pristine each time an official album from 2Pac drops. Unfortunately, like Dante said, the vibe throughout the entire cd is pretty much the same.

Agreed. Though as dante said, it should've been more mixers doing the tracks.

This was an ok album, but I don't like it, the repetitiveness not being the only reason

2 Of Amerikaz Most Wanted Nu Mixx - This is a good remix, but the reversed Pac lines fuckin destroy it.
Hail Mary Nu Mixx - I like this beat, but there's this 1 instrument in it that I hate and makes me skip the track every time I listen to this album (I can count the times I've listened to this album with the fingers on 1 of my hands)
Heartz Of Men Nu Mixx - Sounds so boring and empty.
Hit Em Up Nu Mixx - Clean acapella ruins it for me. He has so much more energy on the dirty version.

And well, the originals are better, why settle for less?

I agree :thumb:

Won't be 2Pac's best album, but still much better than L2TG, and still a better try that the "Prophet" and "Prophet's Returns"
On these albums they released only previously released tracks ...
