Technology Need a music mixer programme

Any DJ's out there that could recommend a programme for managing mp3 music?

I just need something simple, something that would allow me to chop, shape, and maybe mix my mp3s.

I am no DJ of sorts, I am just looking to convert my existing mp3s into custom music for my ipod and ringtones for my mobile.

adobe audition was always the easiest to me. i always preferred it to acid pro. so if acid pro doesn't suit you, you can try adobe. a download shouldn't be more than approximately 150 megabytes.
