I'm listening to this album for the first time in maybe 5 years. I bumped it a lot when it came out, but it's been a long time since I listened.
It's better than I remember. In fact, I may even like it more than "It Was Written".... although the best tracks on "Written" are probably better than the best tracks on "I Am..."
But still, a really solid album. People hated on it, but still way better than any of the albums he's made in the last decade.
