Whats wrong with Rooney being dropped? :wondering: The guy isn't fit and is in terrible form. But it's The Sun, so its most likely not going to happen. Arteta won't play for England.

Yes he was. After he got injured against Bayern Munich he was rushed back and didn't look fit at all. Prior to that injury he waso n fire.

yea Ferguson's fault. so hell bent on winning that he risked an unfit player in 2 or 3 games and played a big part in Rooney being shit at the world cup. funny how this was completely overlooked at the time.

The problem is he's Spanish lol. I find it an absolute farce that people are discussing this. The guys spanish, who cares how long he's stayed in the UK. Surely to god this aint gonna happen. If Arteta is thinking about it he's an arse aswell.

Because he is Spanish. I want to support England. Don't you get pissed off when people like Andy Townsend play for Eire? He is embarrassingly a massive England fan, yet played for Eire.


As for Rooney. I don't disagree with him dropping him.... But I feel like Capello is having his strings pulled by the press. He does everything that he reads. He was tough and stubborn... I miss the old Capello.

tbh i never had a problem with Townsend. he had Irish connections so he played for us and was a good player. not sure about him being captain of the team though. although he was a good leader.

but then Arteta hasnt any connections whatsoever with England
