I don't even know where to start, so here we go.
This happened on Saturday, March 19, 2005.
A "friend" of mine, we'll call him D, drives a 1999 Honda Prelude. It's a preety good car, and it's got some power in it. His drivers' license has been suspended for many months now and he NEVER had car insurance for that Prelude.
On saturday, after a night of drinking/snorting coke, he decides to visit us in good ol' Port Richmond, Philly. He's hauling ass on I-95 doing speeds around 80 mph. His girlfriend and her best friend are with him. All of the sudden he loses control of his car and hits a couple of cars next to him and crashes the car into the concrete median. Both of the girls lose conscience due to the crash, and get their shoes knocked off their feet. He wakes them up, his girlfriends' best friend is bleeding from her nose. They're both panicking, he tells them that they have to get out the car and run since he's intoxicated, and he doesn't have the proper papers for that car. Keep in mind that both of the girls are barefoot.
His girlfriend gets out the car in the middle of the highway and stumbles and falls. Turns out her leg is broken! He picks her up and drags her down the exit ramp with the broken leg, while the other girl is right behind them bleeding from the nose.
As they get off the exit ramp they see a Police car closing quickly behind them. He let's go of his girlfriend, and starts running away from the Police. The two girls sit down on a curb as one of the patrol cars stops to assist them. The other cop car chases after D.
The girls, in total shock, start lying to the Police about what just happened. They told the officer that they both tripped on the pavement and one of them broke her nose, while the other did something to her leg. The officer smelled bullshit right away, since he saw D run off. He called an ambulance. The other patrol car catches up with D and puts his dumb ass in cuffs and brings him over to the girls in order to find out the truth, and then they take off to the scene of the accident to investigate.
I don't know the exact figure of how many cars he bumped into, but I know for a fact that he totalled his car.
He's in jail right now on a $5,000.00 bond. His parents are both alcoholics who definetly won't post bail, even though his pops makes good money doing construction. No one, not even his friends, will post his bail. All of my friends, especially the girls, are fed up with his dumb ass. We helped him out too many times. He never learns.
He's the type of a dumb ass who barely finished grade school, and quit high school after 3 weeks. He got into drugs and rap music when he came to the U.S. from Poland in 2000. He's the epitomy of a "wigger". I mean if you saw him...you'd understand. His teeth are rotten out from snorting coke. This dude is 6'2" feet tall and weights like a 140lbs.
So anyways what do people get for...
*driving while the influence of alcohol and drugs.
*having a suspended license with no car insurance.
*causing a multiple car accident
*fleeing the scene of a mutliple accident.
*putting lives in danger...?
can they charge him with other things?....
I'm preety sure we won't see him for a long time...
