Normally i wouldn't care too much of an underground act, with the exception of those that have their own producer, providing production for nearly all their album releases, and is actually DOPE. PLUS, having dope rappers flowing over those beats. Don't miss out.

theres a hell of alot more, i suggest you get all there records, it really is some dope shit.

Dope shit i'll check it out. Hip Hop in its greatest form is in the underground. That's where real lyricism thrives, and the culture is represented in the correct way. I've been listening to Brother Ali lately. I just got into him, as a matter of fact, but all i've listened to is his album "The Undisputed Truth." Check him out if you want.

Peace

I know and love them.

CunninLynguists are absolutely awesome. They are very constant with their music since every track they make is great. Their beats are close to perfect - the first time I've heard them they blew my mind and after a week of bumping them every other beat sounded wack. The only thing I dislike about them is that there's one guy there with a fat, lazy voice that sounds annoying to me and he can't rap that well either (he sounds like Buddha Monk of Brooklyn Zu/Wu Affiliates). I think that he makes their songs way less dynamic. Some people like him though so I guess it's a matter of taste.

Nevertheless they are one of the most underrated groups ever, they shit on JMD/Army Of The Pharaohs imo and yeah, that claim might sound extraordinary but I think you will agree with me after listening to their songs.

Plus they released 2 albums this year already.

And if you're into less known producers (or not really yet) check out Nujabes:

I liked the Cunninlynguists' first two albums but after that I haven't been feeling their shit too much. 616 rewind is a classic lyrical track. Celph goes off on that shit.

Since u dig your producers and that, Ive championed this album on here a ton of times and I'll do it once more, but get "Changes Of Atmosphere" by French producer Dela.

Both "Strange journey" albums are my favorite.
They were both released this year.
Maybe they are not that lyrical (I don't find Cunninlynguists too great flow-wise) but the overall vibe and production are great imo.
