Janet Jackson has claimed her first U.S. number one album since 2001 after toppling another famous J.J. - Jack Johnson.

Jackson ended the surf-rocker’s three-week reign atop the Billboard 200 by debuting Discipline at number one, as experts predicted.

But the new album shifted slightly more than expected, claiming the top spot with 181,000 sales.

Erykah Badu’s new album 4th World War debuts at two, while Johnson’s Sleep Between The Static slides to three.

Rapper Webbie’s Savage Life 2 enters the new chart at four and As I Am by Alicia Keys rounds out the top five.

Meanwhile, last month’s Oscars appear to have been good to the soundtracks for Juno and Once - both albums have enjoyed sales increases, with the Once release, featuring this year’s Best Song Oscar winner, "Falling Slowly", jumping up from 31 to seven.
