Ne-Yo: Aye hows it going this is Ne-Yo

Rahim: hey whats up man

Rahim: mind if i interview you with some questions

Ne-Yo: Yeah i got time for a few before we go eat

Rahim: alrite, some questions I have are related to the next 2Pac album and your contributions to it

Rahim: How did you end up on 2Pac's album

Ne-Yo: My management told me about the project and i was honored so i agreed went to the studio and now waiting to hear what the production team did with it

Rahim: What is the name of the track you are featured on, were there any other artists colaberating as well, and can you say who is apart of the production team?

Ne-Yo: Kanye west and dj mellow. And honestly they just had me lay some vocals. When they get done mixing it the track will be named

Ne-Yo: But i do know that the song is kinda like a keep your head up track

Rahim: Can you tell us anything else about the album, any other guest artists or producers that you know of?

Ne-Yo: I know scott storch did some tracks and so did kanye. And kanye is rapping on there 2. There is also a song with pac B.I.G., Big L, Left Eye, Big Pun, Rick James and Aaliyah

Rahim: Can you give us any information on release dates or when the first single will be out?

Ne-Yo: Thats something i just dont know

Ne-Yo: what i did hear is this is the last pac album

Rahim: Tell us a little bit on working with J. Wright. How is everything going with the tour

Ne-Yo: he is the hardest working artist i know and everyone on this tour is backing him up

Rahim: Can you give me specific details on J. Wright's up comming album

Ne-Yo: He produced most of the album with his older brother chief big

Rahim: Is there a release date for the album, and what other artists will be collaberating

"There is also a song with pac B.I.G., Big L, Left Eye, Big Pun, Rick James and Aaliyah"

^^^what!?!?!? that sounds horrible. that's extremely disapoting news,a cut and paste track? that's something bad boy would do for a biggie duet album.that track will probably sound just as bad as the one of thoes mixtape dj duet tracks.

I'm hoping the interview is fake because it really looks fake as hell. I went from very promising news from the Militant down to sad news by coming into this topic all in one day. Just praying this is fake.

And if it's true, I want to know what is up with Amaru/Afeni promoting so many other artists besides 2Pac. It's ridiculous. On 2Pac Resurrection, the video single for the soundtrack had Biggie on it. Like wtf, does Biggie have to do with a movie based on 2Pac's life story besides a short beef? Even Nas, Eminem, and Elton John are on 2pac singles. Whatever happened to having a single focusing on 2Pac only. Let the other mothers of dead artists focus on their children. I didn't see any video for House Of Pain from "Duets". Afeni and her team better not be this stupid and make such a ridiculous track for a 2pac album. This has to be the worst news ever and it has to be fake.

I was planning to put this up on StreetHop.com right now acctually...but thanks..
The whole interview was done through mobile (txt messaging) btw.

^ne yo just texted u out of no where 'ay hows it going this is ne-yo"?

Nope there was a conversation before and after with another person (J Wright) but I had to edited it out because it had nothing to with this interview.

Dont go gettin so negative an pessimistic right away. Calm down! Look we do not know what this album will be like until it drops an we have heard it. I for one am very happy to hear Kanye West putting some effort into it. In my opinion I believe he would do his utmost best to make a very good Pac song, tho not 2 happy to hear him rappin on it!!! Its like he says on Bring Me Down, 'since Pac passed away none of you rappers even deserve a track from me'. I dont think he would Eminem it!

Agreed, I think (hope) that Kanye feels Pac's music better than Eminem. Kanye seems to be a Pac fan, though that's no guarentee since Eminem claims to be that too...

exactly what i was thinking... the quote from bring me down... "since pac passed away most you rappers dont even deserve a track from me/"... kanye will do a good job... i'm glad to see this... but they need some west coast producers too like rick rock and mike mosley and then some daz dillinger and johnny j... and then a couple tracks with new producers like kanye or swizz beatz...
