Weren't involved?

Neville Chamberlain's short-sightedness is one of the main reasons Hitler was allowed to take Poland in the first place. Your Prime Minister paved the way for the Nazis, then went home proud as shit. I'd call that being involved.

England and France declared war immediately after Germany's invasion of Poland. That was their big gripe, even though England had sat back and allowed it to happen.

I am neither a Royalist or a Republican. I prefer to have the Royal Family in it's current guise as it's traditional and generates a lot of publicity for Britain. The American's love the Royals more than us, way more. We don't really like them as a nation. I wouldn't want them running the country. But I grew up down the road from Windsor, and I like having a castle.

I mean okay, we both know when England entered the war. What I'm saying is the timeline starts at Chamberlain's appeasement/complicity in Munich.

Declaring war and being involved in the battle isn't the same. We didn't fight in Poland. So we didn't fail. We can only be accused of being untrustworthy. But that's pretty much British history since forever.

I can see why you say that.

I said "We weren't involved as Poland didn't have any oil and we didn't feel like protecting them".

Partly a joke. But I can edit them to fit my stance if you like... ;)

I can understand why it looks like I am backtracking now.


I just read a piece I wasn't aware of though, that counters your Munich Agreement was bad argument. I don't know which is right. Just reading Neville Chamberlain's Wiki.

You've been in the wrong part of England.

Most people I know have decent teeth. And I have teeth issues. I hate any teeth but pearly whites. Where I live it's like a mini hollywood. Too many veneers.
