Arabic culture is way deeper than that. It's not just about our delicious, mouth-melting, tasty dishes. It's about the roots. It's about the style, so simple, yet so complex.

The language in itself is very intricate and profound. The predominant language in the Arabic world is obviously Arabic, yet the Arabic characters are used Farsi language and Urdu as well. Adding to that, the Wests own numerals are traced back to the Arabic language.

The Arabic language reads from right to left, also written this way. It contains 28 characters, most which have an equivalent letter in the English, or Latin if you may, characters. Arabic is of the Semite languages, similar to Hebrew. Thus, Arabs are considered Semites.

The Arabic language is divided into two sections. The correct classical form, which is the one used through newspapers, news channels and the likes, and the regional dialect variations, which is used throughout the region. Although these dialects may vary, most words are very similar.

How the culture varies from one country to another while most of its aspects aren't lost, is interesting.

This post isn't intended to you Khaled, I know you are knowing of these things. Its a general post.

What i like most about arabic culture is the poetry.
I think that it was the 1st culture to have dis poetry (that kinda remind me of rap music and freestyles)

Arab poets like mutanabbi are the shit. They have some of the greatest quotes ever. i might translate some here later on

^That is exactly what I love about it, too. Great poets. I am speaking of classical poetry. Such, as Alkhansa', Amr'a Al qais, many others as well. Mutnabi has classical poetry. Amazing. Also, modern day poets, such as Nzar Qabani... not all of his work.. some of it.

Yeah, man.You see that alot with the Quran.I think it loses it's meaning and beauty when translated, regardless of the quality of translation.
