Lets talk about something real, like trying to get rid of that pro-syrian president in lebanon. WHat do you peps think, will he resign?

Acctually they have acctually over threw the president and a new government is on the way... After the Old Prime minister was aassainated...It acctually united the country .

Can i ask u all why r u all talking about shawerma .....??

the president didn't resign. The government (ie the prime minister resigned) after the assassination of ex prime minister rafik hariri. the president of the republic is still in place.

The prime minister Omar Karame who resigned monday in the parlement after a heated confrontation with the opposition members of the parlament, in a historical extraordinary parlament session that was broadcasted live on TV and on the radio amid massive manifestations in martyr square in Downtown Beirut. Omar karame resigned due to the extreme pressure exercised by the opposition about the incompetence of the lebanese autorities in handling the investigations of the assassination of Rafik Hariri, as well as the growing popular support the opposition was gaining. CNN labeled this resignation as an example of people power, given the pressure that the population was able to exercise peacefully demanding the resignation of the government

^^^Exactly, I think Lahoude will stay in power untill elections, but that is wack cuz elections arent unitl end of may or some shit like that. His ass needs to resign.

If he does I bet Syria will cause some trouble just to make it seem like Lebanon is lost without Syria's occupation. Either way I have a feeling that we need to pray right now cuz things could get really bad if Syria plays their cards right.

as good as our food is we just cant keep talking about it, but if it makes you feel better advok8, i am eating a chicken shawerma sandwich with some hummus right now. I love hummus.
