^^ true that , that's the first thing I noticed when playing it lol..

I've actually managed to score up to 2 touchdowns in a real game ( rookie level ) so far! Wich is astonishing for me , really :D

And the 2 minute drill & practice game modes taught me a lot as wel , so I must say those modes are very , very well done!
Especially because the essence of football is incredibly complicated :p

Okay , something I've been meaning to ask..

If the opposition has the ball , and you have to pick a defensive play , right?
I always get the control over a player!

I know , when the game hasn't actually started yet , I can pick a new player by pressing the D-button.

But when the play HAS started , and the opposition is in offensive play & starts running towards you to get some yards , I still have the same player!
More often than not , that player is too far away from the play to stop the opposition from running with the ball!

Usually the other players stop him , but there has got to be a way so I can switch to the player the closest to the play? So I can stop them MYSELF instead of relying on the other players? I mean , that would be more fun as wel , wouldn't it?

So.. what button do I have to press to switch players?

not to be offensive, but i dont play madden or really care for it to tell the truth. i always thought it was overrated. but i feel bad for you madden guys, because youre gonna be stuck with this for a while because of the whole NFL contract EA has. if you like it then it should be good for you, but those of you who are disappointed, youre screwed.

i don't know why they are doing it this way, but it seems like they are going for the best graphics and gameplay possible on the 360 at the expense of good features. the superstar mode was implemented very well on the current gen consoles and PC, but all the reviews for the 360 that i've read are significantly lower than current gen versions. you would think that more powerful system and more room on discs would allow them to have top ntch graphics AND all the good features, but apparently not. good going, EA

the 360s disc are the same size as a plain dvd. so its 4.7gb single layer and around 9gb double layer.

well i don't use a keyboard for control, so i don't know which button it would be for you, but in the main menu go to the profiles tab and find control conffig. that should tell you what button it is

well in some respects that is true, i still prefer ESPN 2K5 to Madden. but i think that with the pairing of EA and the NFL (and now ESPN) things can only get better for the Madden Series. that is of course, unless you own a 360 lol
