^Agreed. The singing on "You're never over" is just so terrible and corny, especially in the very beginning of the song. At first I thought he was joking, then realized it's a serious song talking about Proof. I know that since he did the singing, the argument is that it's more personal and therefore more powerful. I disagree if someone brings that up.

No, it's not perfect. There are different approaches. A personal and heart-felt song doesn't need to include Eminem's singing. Take Game's "Start From Scratch" for example. He had Marsha just kill the chorus while he rapped drunk as fuck, I assume, and half-crying and shit. It was perfect. Fucking lovely. I don't ask for Eminem to do some sort of crying rap concoction, but at least if you're going to sing, do it right. When he says "youuuuuuu" it makes me cringe how bad it sounds.
