Kurupt had ghostwriter for entire album?!

#1
i was just looking at the booklet for against the grain, and the only song actually written by kurupt (ricardo brown), was im back. the rest of the songs are credited to some dude named D. Williams.

can someone explain this to me. did kurupt really not write his own lyrics on this album? if so, thats bullshit. i feel cheated.... and dirty.

someone PLEASE enlighten me on this

i was wondering if D Williams was roscoe. yeah, this whole thing doesnt make sense to me. why would kurupt have roscoe write his lyrics?
maybe something to do with his legal situation with Antra

Who gives a fuck what the booklet says, it's pretty clear that Kurupt wrote the lyrics. It's his style from track 1 to track 18. You would know if someone else wrote it. And whoever brought up the legal situation has a good point, since "I'm Back" (the only songs that credits Kurupt as the writer) was originally from the Dysfunktional Family soundtrack and not a brand new song.

Don't know if Roscoe wrote any lyrics for Kurupt, but Roscoe is a dope rapper also his style so similar to Kurupts.

Kurupt should get back to his "New York, New York" type of flow... that song is dope from beginning to end, I don't think Kurupt has made a track that is as lyrical as that since Dogg Food. It's a shame, I was hoping for a track like that on this album.

mmm dunno exactly what happend but if you compair kurupts work on death row from 1992-1996 to his work in 1998-2004 there are a huge diffrence. his flow where crazy back in 1995 now days it feels like he is stuck mentioning the same word over and over again etc bitch bitch type of stuff but i got to give him credit the songs ive heard so far from ATG have been of the hook way better then what i expected. same thing happend to snoop he is no way near as good now as he was on doggystyle made it was becuse they where all new then hade to prove them selves to the rap world..
