Film & TV Just finished playing 'God Of War' on PS2...

Awesome game. One of, if not, the best game I've ever played. It kept me up until 4am last night and I had to be at work at 8am so this is a great start to my week!
It's cool cuz even my girlfriend loves watching me play it and kept bugging me to put it on so she could see more of the story and try to figure out some of the puzzles, so it gets a big two thumbs up for that!!
A couple of small niggles with the game, the biggest is that a couple of times I've got to a point where something has gone wrong and I've had to go back to a previous save point and start a puzzle again, for example in the challenge of Atlas I pulled a lever that I wasnt supposed to pull until later, when the time came that I actually had to pull the lever it wouldn't work again no matter what I did and I was stuck so I had to go back to a save point I made an hour before and do the puzzle in the right order and it worked fine. Another is that you can get to a checkpoint with no energy and no magic and then have to fight like 5 dogs of hades where you have no chance and when you die you start from the checkoint with no energy and no magic again. Nothing you can do but go back to a previous saved game again (or use a cheat!).
Apart from that the game is perfect. I have no idea how big it is yet, I'm far into Pandora's mountain running through Hades challenge, how much longer is left after this FlipMo?

the ending to the game sets up for a sequelNo idea who the "boss" is yet. I kicked that Minotaur's ass good and proper though!!
I thought I was about to finish the Pandora's mountain level and get Pandora's box but it turns out that I had only cleared the lower level which sounds like a small intro to the real level, if so this game is an epic!

Done it last night, really good ending and end levels. I think it was about 10 hours of progressive playing and totally engrossing the whole way through, I couldn't play anything else until I finished this and I'm now on God mode which is bloody tough - the second Hydra killed me! They should've let you keep all of the weapons and magic that you finished the game with for God made, that would've been alot better.
Anyways, this game gets 10/10 from me. The best I've played for a long time.
