with all the youthful energy she displayed on the TV program. Interestingly, JORDIN SPARKS
doesn't feature the old-school style Sparks favored on the show. Instead, it's full of slick
contemporary R&B in the mold of Beyonce. The style choice plays well to Sparks's impressive
vocal range and power, even when she doesn't invest much soul or personal flair in her
performances. Despite its shortcomings, JORDIN SPARKS should still please fans who followed
the singer's success on AMERICAN IDOL
