2Pac was arrested a good year before Me Againt the World came out, that could be an explaination or he was rapping vicariously.

Sidenote: With US prison system this is how it works, when your arrested your placed in jail and a bail hearing is set for conditional release. Once your convicted of a felony your sent to the penitentiary. Two different environments.

Tupac also said a lot of things in a rap before they happened.
1 of the reasons people call him a prophet.


There's an interview of him explaining this - he says something like he chatted about crooked cops and getting a beat down then it happend, he chatted about being incarcerated then it happened, he chatted about being shot and setup then it happened. Or something like that, sorry for the vagueness.

2pac has been in the county jail many times before he ever went to the pen so that's probably what he is talking about. peace
