I just dont know , Im definently going to buy this new album but im not expecting much.

It just seems weird that they lift orignal hooks that he made and replace them with other artists. espeicaly the song pacs life, they actually lifted his verse from "this life i lead " and put it on pacs life to make it seem like song structure isnt important. Its strange amaru is going down that path of changing hooks I hate that they change beats but i can live with that but to change his hooks is like telling pac toi his face that his hook isnt good enuff.

I mean whats next are they going to literally start cutting & pasting his verses to create new lyrics, like they did on lttg.

Im glad amaru didnt get a hold of the makaveli album thank god. imagine Hail mary remixed with Mya & slim thug

fuk amaru records,

Dante u gotta voice man u gotta step to amaru and let them now how much they fuken up

Yes I think it's disrespectful now. Seriously. I won't buy this new album neighter, like I did skip the album before.

I think the new one will barely make platinum

Its just so weird the way tupacs music has been handled they put chamilinaire on one of his songs I gues they are saying that chamilionaire is at the same level as a tupac same with the other guests. and ti has already done 2 unrelesed songs with tupac not remixes wtf.

Imagine if a whole bunch of Kurt cobaines of NIrvona unrelesed music was found. and instead of putting them out orignal they put like fuken, Justin timberlake and like Nick carter on his songs and changed up the beets. It would never happen. Because hes respected and his music is respected. But tupacs sh*t is just not respected. Amaru records dosent respect tupacs music they feel it wasnt good enuff to stand on its own so it needs there spin to be succesful. The people handling his music now should handle it with the same respect as a frank sinatra or elvis, not just some bubble gum rap sh*t u can add the new flavor of the week to.

If they were just making tribute mixtape albums i wouldnt have a problem. But to take unrelesed songs change the beat, change the guests, change the hook, change the song structure just to minimze spending and maximize profits just seems fukt up

I think it's a little disrespectful. Afeni just wants to make more money, because she's putting most of her attention to tha TASF. If in tha end, which I doubt, she puts out an OG box set from RUSD to whatever tha last album is, I'd have alot more respect for her.

i believe we been screaming for a OG BOXSET since RUSD album....now its just a whimper...the internet is a powerful tool...dante has a voice and so do YOU...if you can some how intellegently write an arguement maybe we can petetion it to Amaru...but with this immaturity of "wtf Cham and G-Unit, they suck!" rebuttle wont make them listen to our voice

there have been many intelligently written petitions with hundreds, and in some cases thousands, of signatures sent to Amaru and none of them have made any difference whatsoever to them, they just continue doing what they do with very little regard to what the consumers want.

Unfortunately, no petition or letter will work.. People have been trying those ideas for years with no luck.

The only way I could see them releasing a boxset (extremely slim chance) is if they market if correctly, which is no easy task since the average person probaly doesnt care about the "original version" since they have no idea how much different the song sounds.

For example, say you take a kid that bought a couple pac albums in his life.. He goes into Sam Goody and sees the boxset in the store, picks it up, looks at the back, and says "WTF i have all these songs already".. Then he looks at the price tag and says "60 bucks?!" Then he reads the sticker or label on the front that says that they're the original versions and he says "Man, theyre probaly just remixes or they sound old as hell" then he puts it down and picks up the new Mike Jones and buys that instead.

yeah, i don't think the market would be big enough for them to ever release a boxset of OG's, as much as we would all love them to. it would cost a lot of money to clear samples, pay original artists and producers, etc. and they would almost certainly take a loss instead of making a profit on it. the average person isn't gonna pay that kinda money for original versions of songs they already have, like fataldawg said

i dont even think u need a box set. I think there logic is that the songs have been bootlegged so much that people wont want to buy them orignal, and it costs a lot of money to get clearence for the hooks. But those bootlegs came out like 8 years ago new fans dont know sh*t about them and I think old fans wouyld just appreciate having the songas unedited complete in perfect sound quality.

Its so much b.s when it comse to pacs music its handled like a local mixtape artist. They just release these songs from no where you dont get any info or details about the songs its criminal. They should have mtv specials about the orignal producer the artists that were there all that. Your talking bout tupac shakur he sold millions when he was living. to bad suge Knight got locked up and deathrow records crumbled.

I mean I trust pacs ability to choose a beat to rap to more than I trust the producers they currently use. But that isnt even my main argument my argument is You cant change up his hooks and cut & paste verses from other songs to create new songs. Theres just no need for that if the song is only 2 or 3 minutes long then fuc it let the fans feen for more. Use it as a marketing tool say and these songs were left incompleted by tupac and maybe do a intro add mystery to it have fun with it songs like cachin feelings and pacs life are classics.

The chorus for Pac's Life was an interpolation of the chorus from Prince's Pop Life. Hopefully that's the only reason it was changed and they leave the rest of his choruses the fuck alone.

do you think we are sending the petitions to the wrong people?....how about a news source...local tv, mtv, vh1, i would even go as far as BET...why appeal to just amaru?...why not a radio station...i have done that to my local radio station and they even discussed it 3 days ago...your limiting your voice to only one channel....

how is a radio station or MTV going to help more than just sending the petition to Amaru? that's probably what a radio station or whatever woud do anyway. the best way is to go straight to te source, the people who can make the changes, but they clearly aren't interested in what the fans have to say, and they've proven that time and time again.

heres a crazy thoery...by branching out to media sources you can export to alot more people...therefore exposure is key...if the source, Amaru for example, respond to media critics AS WELL as fan critics...wouldnt they take our voice in a little more accomadation?

yes amaru is very disrespectfull, in austria or even europe most would buy the album in OG form, everybody throw hate on LTTG coze pac isnt a fuckin club bitch, pac is more a helper a soul helper if u have problems put pac in the recorder and its like he would talk to u, i have alot of friends they dont even understand a word pac is sayin but they know "shit the man felt so much pain,he screams he whispers" u can feel the hate u can feel the luv..

thats the reason why i dont listen to nas or another rapper, they may have better lyrics but im gettin tired, pac is in every track so motivated by his ambitions

They should've never started remixing songs in the first place, but at this point they've gone too far to turn around and fix all their mistakes.

Pac's legacy has been tampered with like no other, and the market is flooded with so many remixes, official or unofficial, that I'd be amazed if anyone could keep track of them all. That being said, I don't think Amaru will release a box set anytime in the near future.

True that

Only Pac could do that to people. It's kinda like some reggae I listen to. The mood of the song has a great affect on the mind...
