man! nobody can say 2pac had no religion or if he was muslim, christian etc
because nobody knows what 2pac was thinkin,
nobody know what pac belived in. its always gonna remian a mistery

i see people up in this thread dissin each other about what relgion they believe in. man fuck dat, respect one another

lets just clarify 3 things which i found up in here
1) if you've read tha old testement it says u ain't allowed to eat port so why y'all dissin muslims up in here?

2) allah is tha arabic word for GOD

3) muslims also believe in jeses and tha cross

man i respect everyone from muslims,to jews and christians we all just belive in different things and i think its about time y'all show respect to one another
We as muslims we dont believe in the cross "yes we believe in Jesus and every other prophet and you cant be a muslim without believeing that" but we believe that they wanted to kill Jesus "Whoever they are" So somebody snitched about him and told the ppl that he is in a cave. They went to the cave to get him and when they reach there God took him up"Jesus" and made that snitch to look like Jesus. So they Crossed the snitch not Jesus.

There is more but i think that this is enough.

Peace

TUPAC WAS NOT MUSLIM, and he was not christian, or catholic.. you guys are beefing over bullshit that isnt true, tupac was not a fucking muslim so u may as well stop ur bellyaching...all of you need to read up on things before u come in here and start up bullshit...

this has been posted on thsi site about 20000 times

tupac said in an interview, he wasnt specific to one religion

here is what he said when asked the question..

(Vibe) What religion are you?

(Tupac) I'm the religion that to me is the realist religion there is. I try to pray to God every night unless I pass out. I learned this in jail. I talked to every God [member of the Five Percent Nation] there was in jail. I think that if you take one of the "O's" out of "Good" it's "God," if you add a "D" to "Evil," it's the "Devil." I think some cool motherfucker sat down a long time ago and said, Let's figure out a way to control motherfuckers. That's what they came up with-the bible. 'Cause if God wrote the bible, I'm sure there would have been a revised copy by now. 'Cause a lot of shit has changed. I've been looking for this revised copy-I still see that same old copy that we had from then. I'm not disrespecting anyone's religion, please forgive me if it comes off that way, I'm just stating my opinion.

The bible tells us that all these people did this because they suffered so much, that's what makes them special people. I got shot five times and I got crucified in the media, And I walked through with the thorns on, and I had shit thrown on me, and I had the word thief at the top; I told that nigga, "I'll be back for you. Trust me, it's not supposed to be going down, I'll will be back." I'm not saying I'm Jesus, but I'm saying we go through that type of things every day. We don't part the Red Sea, but we walk through the 'hood without getting shot. We don't turn water to wine, but we turn dope fiends and dope heads into productive citizens of society. We turn words into money-what greater gift can there be? So I believe God blesses us, I believe God blesses those that hustle. Those that use their minds and those that averall are righteous. I believe that everything you do bad comes back to you. So everything that I do that's bad, I'm going to suffer for it. But in my heart, I believe what I'm doing in my heart is right. So I feel like I'm going to heaven.

I think heaven is just when you sleep, you sleep with a good concience-you don't have nightmares. Hell is when you sleep, the last things you see is all the fucked-up things you did in your life and you just see it over and over again, 'cause bullets burn. There's people that got burned in fires, does that mean they went to hell already? All that is here. What do you got there that we ain't seen here? What, we're gonna walk around aimlessly like zombies? That's here! You ain't been on the streets lately? Heaven now, look! [he gestures to his plush apartment.] We're sitting up here in the living room, big-screen TV-this is heaven, for a moment. Hell is jail-I seen that one. Trust me, this is what's real. And all that other shit is to control you.

If the churches took half the money that they was making and gave it back to the community, we'd be all right. If they took half the buildings that they use to "praise God" and gave it to motherfuckers who need God, we'd be all right. Have you seen some of these got-damn churches lately? There's homeless people out here. Why ain't God lettin' them stay here? Why these niggas got gold ceilings and shit? Why God need gold ceilings to talk to me? Why does God need colored windows to talk to me? Why God can't come here I'm at where he sent me? If God wanted to talk to me in a pretty spot like that, why the hell he send me here then? That makes ghetto kids not believe in God. Why?

So that's wrong religion-I believe in God, I believe God puts us wherever we wants to be at. That didn't make sense that God would put us in the ghetto. That means he wants us to work hard to get up out of here. That means he's testing us even more. That makes sense that if you're good in your heart, you're closer to God, but if you're evil, then you're closer to the devil; that makes sense! I see that everyday all that other spooky shit, don't make sense. I don't even believe, I'm not dissin' them, but I don't believe in the brothers, I've been in jail with 'em and having conversations with brothers; "I'm God, I'm God." You God, open the gate for me. You know how far the sun is and how far the moon is, how the hell do I pop this fuckin' gate? And get me free and up outta here. Then I'll be a Five Percenter for life.

thats an excerpt from the interveiw with vibe magazine....heres the link for the ones who want to read the rest who havent seen it yet..as you can see he claims NO religion, but has a belief in God..

Some one suggested in a thread before that it's referring to Nat Turner freeing the slaves in 1831 (I think it's 31 not 36 on the tat).

Oh yeah 1831 that's what I meant. lol
Yeah it more than likely is Nat Turner freeing the slaves.
Because there is no exodus 18:31 in the bible, it only goes up to 27.

I can't believe this topic has got so big, it's retarded. We all know Pac wasn't religious, so he wasn't Muslim. He was Agnostic.

And the thread starter is about 12 at the most, a lot of growing up to do buddy. I wish I had my mod powers back, this would be closed.

this kelhasan guy needs to shut the fuck up, from one mulsim to another i would personally knock u the fuck out u prick!! stop talking shit man cant ya'll see he just trying to cause between everyone...

To be honest I don't think I've seen you post in life until after the hack. I just saw you in streethop, "attacking" 2pac. Until his Fans argued with you. lol

Pac wasn't religious? WTF! He said in an interview (MTV I think) one time that he takes praying Very Seriously. Also said that while in prison used to talk to God/the Gods at night. Plus:

1) He got a cross on his back with an ambiguous reference to the bible.
2) He got ANOTHER cross on his arm with Jesus on it.
3) Had 'Only god can judge me!!!' on his arm
4) All the time he talks about religion in his songs
5) ("Quote" ( \/ Look at my signature \/ ))
6) I could go on...

(All above are meant in past tense)

I find it hard to believe that Tupac was just agnostic.

There is a quote from an interview that i think is in HitEmUp somewhere where he says that he is his own religion. He believes in God but not the Bible or Church.

I'm not asking you to believe, I'm stating facts.
1.) Read my post. The Reference isn't to the bible on his back, I'm no Christian, yet I know there's only 27 verses in chapter 18 of Exodus, if you are Christian go back to Sunday School. Cos you got an F.
2.) So I got a T-shirt with Jesus on it. And I know a lot of non religious people with Jesus Tattoos. It could symbolise something to him, Persecution? Doesn't mean he's religious. Is that a part of Religion, Jesus Tattoos? No it isn't.
3.) Agnostic means believes in god, but not conventional religion, so you're point is invalid.
4.) I've read the Qur'an and Bible many times, I'm neither Christian or Muslim, I can easily have a discussion on religion. If I write an essay I quite often post a religious quote. Having the knowledge doesn't mean anything.
5.) Same as 3.)
6.) I could post shit too.

First we have a muslim claiming Pac as a muslim, now a christian that pac was christian.
Can't you people think outside of 2pac's head? Do you really need his approval. Get your own lives. That's what he was trying to say in his songs. I guess some are followers and some are leaders. It's a shame mostly followers post here.

Yes, but the majority of Pac fans are dickriders who don't have the power to think for themselves.

This is obviously a subject all can not agree on, I aint gonna argue about this. I believe 'Exodus' on his back is ambiguous. As far as we know Tupac could have worshipped Bob Marley.

I think in this case it would depend upon your own definition of what being 'religious' is.
There is a DVD about Pac that someone said about him " ...he was always asking people's definitions of things..." Maybe Pac redefined being religious to bring about his own way.

It says Exodus 1831, how can that relate to the bible.
Pac said himself he was agnostic. So I'm not guessing or debating, I'm bringing facts. It's a bit like the colour blue, you can package any way you want but it's still blue.
And I never said Pac wasn't religious, I said he was Agnostic, he didn't believe in conventional religion, but did believe in god. We all know he was interested in religion, he read the bible, the holy qur'an and the shaballah. It's just he never belonged to 1.

How can Exodus 1831 not relate to the bible?
Who is it saying that it is an exact bible quote?
Who is it saying that 'Exodus' and '1831' are reffering to just one thing? (Exodus = one, 1831 = another).

If my memory serves me correct the '1831', we figured a while ago, refferred to some African revolutionary (I forget his name) who died in 1831.

This has been debated before.

And when did I say, you said "Pac wasn't religious?" I haven't edited none of my posts.

I never said you did, I was just clearing things up. Your argument is very weak so I can't be bothered to continue. Part of searching for the truth is knowing when you've found it and stopping, otherwise you're gonna be looking forever.

You know I'm right. Truth is due to a constant flux of change, that's the truth.
