I had a discussion with my friend which i kinda of disgreed with him.

he thinks that since 2pac didn't release an outlawz album when he was alive and is the reason the outlawz aren't as known in the mainstream. These were his reasons.

The outlawz made appearances on several 2pac albums like MATW, AEOM, 7 Day Theory, but only appeared in 2 videos with him. More mainstream the hit 'em up video. In which they still lacked exposure to the mainstream after he died.

When the outlawz were dramacydal that they had already finished an album but since 2pac was in jail, it was unable to be released.

The outlawz recorded an album on Deathrow but Deathrow hasn't released any recording artists album unless its a compilation with 2pac is on it.

When 2pac recorded the Thug Life album with his group, it lacked promotion as well as his legal problems, and the shooting that affected the group.

I don't think 2pac was at fault at all. The mysterious death overshadowed the outlawz success and death of kadafi as well. The politics of the music business and questionable decisions is the main reason for the outlawz lack of success in the mainstream.

So do u think 2pac is at fault for the Outlawz lack of success in the mainstream?

C'mon now Pac done put all the Outlaws together...put them on his own shit, introduced them to a hell of a lot of people. The Outlaws ain't never create much hype for themselves and their talent is what it is.

The question is could Pac even do any more for them?

When are they gonna take responsibility for themselves and their own lives?

no deathrow didnt release there album and i dont think they released there own untill 2000 people forgot about them and they were never on a major so they couldnt really be mainstream

i couldn't imagine pac is at fault, the outlawz are grown men they make their own decisions, still got lots of love for them.

the outlawz had no talent, they sucked and had they're shot wit Pac, now that Pac is gone, everybody realizes they aint shit lol, period

^^Shut up and listen to songs like 'Gatz Up', 'Soldier 2 A General', 'Black Diamonds', 'Pleasures Of Sin', 'Hell On Earth', 'Cry 4 Help'...

its funny how about at least half people on here dont listen to the lawz and they are sayin how much they suck lol. just listen to the new album and ull see that they are good. PERIOD

No, its the Outlawz own fault and to all the ppl on this board who say the Outlawz got no talent: BULLSHIT!! You can check tens of good songs after pac died that shows their talent. When pac was alive they were on top of their game and of course pac helped them out but if you listen to all their appearances you can definetly say they're good rappers. PPL who say the Outlawz fucked up pac songs or that the Outlawz are good on a few songs are talking shit too. The Outlawz had bad / average verses from time to time but i never heard a song where they fuck up a pac song. I'm much as happy when a song leaks with pac & Outlawz as a solo pac song. But let me get back to the point, the lack of success is their own fault due to beef, business moves, rap style / lyrics, livin off pac etc. I think it wouldn't have mattered if that Outlaw Immortals CD was released because they just fell off big so there's nothing to do about that. You can never say it's pac's fault, nuff said.
