Spreading his message of social revolution across the world, indepedent Hip Hop fixture Immortal Technique is gearing up to tour Europe.
Starting in Amsterdam on Sunday September 14, the cross-continetal voyage is in support of Technique’s new studio album The 3rd World.
In addition to performing cuts from his new project, which has moved 45,000 units independently since it's release on June 24, the New York native is hoping to utilize the tour as a platform to strengthen America's international relations across Europe. He will be joined by Viper Records label-mates Diabolic and DJ GI Joe on the tour.
Speaking on the upcoming European tour, Immortal Technique said "Hip-Hop is not dead, it just lives under occupation. But there is a guerilla force out there fighting and it is not just rappers but the people who make up these communities and support real music, especially independent street music."
In what has been a busy period for the rapper, he has recently finished up a U.S. national tour and dates on the Rock the Bells tour. More European dates will be announced soon, in addition to a planned international tour scheduled to proceed his European journey.
The 3rd World, which boasts guest appearances from Chino XL, Crooked I and Ras Kass as well as production from DJ Green Lantern and Bronze Nazareth, is available now through Viper Records.
