Immortal Technique taking aim at Dead Prez on Revolutionary Vol. 1?

I recently copped both Dead Prez "Lets Get Free" and Immortal Techniques "Revolutionary Vol. 1" over the weekend. I was listening to Dead Prez's album and they have the song "Be Healthy" where it talks about a vegan type lifestyle and what not. Then I popped in IM's album, and all of a sudden a track comes up where hes just talkin... and hes talkin about how vegans shouldn't push thier beliefs down peoples throats and shit... I wouldn't have thought anything of it but he goes on to mentions that "Being a vegan isnt revolutionary" and all this shit, and since DP always talks about being revolutionarys... is this a subliminal aimed at DP?

Any idea? This could have been talked about before, no idea, like I said though, I just got the albums...

Immortal technique's raps are mostly conspiracy theories, such as america being behind 9/11. Conspiracys are based on FICTION, IT takes true facts and half truths and twists them to suit his own sensationlist viewpoints. he alway preaches for people not to believe the media when America's is one of the least censured and free in the world?? he also preaches for people to read to discover the "truth" when if the kids who idolise him did they realise hes peddeling bullshit.

Dead prez are straight up racist, they make good music but they are racist. They seem to me to have a warped view of society and all white people, of course racism exists but they seem to believe all white people detest blacks when 80% of rap is sold to caucasians??
they seem to be aggrevied by the injustices black peolle have suffered and fight back with racism thereselves which proves what? that there just as bad??

if you listened to that prank call, where technique got pranked, which was posted on OB4DL a while back, you hear the pranker talk about dead prez. here's the conversation:

to be honest, i don't think they have a problem with each other, but about halfway through this post, i sorta realized that you could be on to something. i mean, they're both so political, you would sorta assume they would at least do a track together. i mean, hell, jay-z did a track with dead prez.

Wrong on that one. America's mainstream free media has always been the most regulated when it comes to journalism pertaining to another country's financial and political situations, among others. Not to mention news stations are most afraid of picking a side politically because if they do so, they will lose all of their opposing viewers, thus losing money. Money is what America is about, and in accordance to this our free media must remain moderate in order to sustain financial gain.

just because someone CHOOSES not to do something does not mean they are not free to do it, the US media are freee to pretty much say what they want, just many stations don't.

First off, not one white kid I know, besids myself, has ever even heard of Dead Prez, let alone listens to them.

Now it may be said that 90% of Jay-Z's album, or something like that, may be white people who bought it. But Dead Prez? Nah, it's not like that.

And I'm sure IT would love a major deal with shady/aftermath, if they gaurenteed that he could put out wahtever type of rap he wants and not pop rap. Although considering Eminem has put out whatever the hell he wants, I'm sure they wouldn't mind IT doing it too.
