Yup, I usually use it for the gym every day. Most of the people that I see working out have ipods as well so go figure.

do they sale good ipod's for not alot of money? i'm talkin like 50-150 dollars
Highly doubt it. Try ebay.com but most likely they will be used.

I have a 40gb ipod and i cant live with out it. Highly recommend it .. everyone who says ipods are shit have never owned one.

^The old iPod batteries did. But Apple improved their batteries for the new 4th generation ipods, the ipod photo, and the ipod mini, and they havent been out for 18 months, so the new ones might last longer. I have had a mini since early april 2004, and it hasn't died on me yet.

ps....Ipod battery dies after 18 month....
I got the second generation ipod that was manufactured in 2000 and my battery is still going strong. The reason is I don't let the battery run down to 1 bar because it will take a full cycle for a battery to recharge. The less cycles the more time you will have the battery.

I have a 15gig Ipod, and let me just say, do not buy one.

The entire Apple support system is designed to fuck you in the ass. My battery began to die about six months after I bought it, and I have tried to contact their technical support to get it fixed, and they say that it is not under warranty (they have a standard one year warranty on all ipods) and that I must send them my receipt. After i send my receipt and they confirm it is under warranty, i must apply to have my name placed on a waiting list to recieve a special box, where i package up my ipod and send it off to apple, who will fix it and send it back.

its been two months, and im still on the waiting list, they want more conformation.

Fuck Ipods, the Creative Nomads shit all over them. Get a Creative Nomad Zen, get like 30gb for almost half the price of an Ipod, if you need more storage, buy a fujitsu laptop harddrive, open the nomad up, and upgrade. So you can have like, 120gigs in there or whatever laptops come with now.
