I got the 40 gb and it's 32 gb full right now, definitely worth buying but the only thing I don't like is the battery life

I think apple just pulled the 40 GB in favor of a 30 GB photo iPod at $350. I would definitely recommend buying that, because it is the newest iPod, which would probably mean that little problems with the 1st round of photo iPods would probably be fixed.

30gb photo is best buy if u want brand new, but apple is selling 40gb 1st gen photo ipods in the SALE section of the site, and they come with ALL the accessories. the 40gb is slightly thicker than the 30gb.

what problems in 1st round photo ipods? i havnt really heard of any
