i just recently got a job at a strip club, last night was my second night, and i was working on reception, letting ppl in, taking their money, checking id's (or not) etc...

anyway so this group of 4 ppl come to the door, i take their money and let them in. a few minutes later one of the girls in the group attacked one of the dancers at the club so the cops were called and there was a big hustle. then i find out the girl was a minor as she was being questioned by police. so my manager asked me did i let her in? yes. did i check her id? no. so i instantly got fired, i know im probably gonna get fined a few thou (like i can afford it) and be convicted, whats gonna happen to the club and the managers? does anyone know anything more about this, am i going to have to speak to the police?

The club will be fined for letting in a minor not a biggie and also look at the clubs history if this kind of incident has happened, if so they might lose their license. I would really worry if the parents sue you and the club for letting in a minor without checking an ID.

valeoz - because most ppl who go in there are older men so its not like common procedure. im not saying it wasnt my fault, i should have known better, its just they didnt look underage to me so it didnt occur to ask for id u know?

lil shortie - well, its decent money... atleast when ur serving drinks it is bcuz u get tips aswell. i didnt have to be naked, i just got to wear a cute lil outfit, atleast i would have got to wear a cute outfit had i not been fired plus i needed a job and it didnt require experience, which i have hardly any of so it was a good opportunity, then i could work in other bars too in future
