This may sound really stupid, but I honestly believe that if 2Pac had lived, there would be less albums out now.

If you watch the prison interview on Tupac Vs., you'll find out that he was planning on being involved in a lot of movies. Not just acting, but directing as well (I think he even said producing). I think he would really have been the next Will Smith. If you pull most people aside and ask them who Will Smith is, they would tell you that he is an actor. I think that's how 2Pac would have been. He would have been very involved in movies, and just dropped an album every now and then.

I even read an interview when someone asked him where he thought he was going to be in 5 years. 2Pac said that he was going to be one of the top guys at Death Row, and drop an album every now and then. Now he may have just been saying that, since a lot of people think that he would have left Death Row, but if he had stayed with them, those were his plans.

Also remember that had it not been for Biggie and Puffy talking shit, 2Pac would have stopped rapping. Who knows, once the beef between him and Biggie stopped, would 2Pac have stopped rapping? Maybe, maybe not...

yeah, i agree with this, 2pac did say he was going to concentrate on movies, he even set up his own production company, i also think he might have looked at producing more than rapping as he seemed to be producing more of his songs on deathrow

I disagree, Suge or Makaveli Records would still have put out Pac albums. I'd still much rather have Pac alive then more albums and him gone.

Well he did say he was gonna just drop an album once in a blue moon, I could,nt see him just sit back an let other rappers dominate the rap game.

Maybe he would have less albums if he was alive, but at least they would be straight classics that are released the way Pac wanted them to be.

Yeah, I mean Makaveli: The 7 Day Theory is a classic, and he did that one in a week. Just imagine how good an album that he worked on for a few years would be.

who cares if there are less albums, prob. every album he planned to release would be double disk and all the songs would be good

Wasn't he planning on dropping an album every ten years so yeah there would be less albums.

Where the hell did you hear that from? Where the hell are you guys getting your information from? Or are you just talking out your asses. Pac said himself that he would never stop making music, because he felt that it was the only we he could actually express himself.

I think if Pac was alive still, he would drop atleast 1 album every year, its not like it took him that long to make enough songs for 1 album, just look at Makaveli 7DT, only took him a week.

It's on some audio interview he said he plans on releasing an album every ten years like Paul McCartney :thumb:
He also did an video interview where he said he'd like to do more acting roles because rap had become too political on the set of gridlock'd :p

50 cent said it best " im not worried about what the rappers are going to put out. im worried about what pac is gonna put out." even in death he's feared. i hope one day i got that power!!!

Thats true he did say that, i think it was 5 years he said.

I dont think 2pac was the type of dude who could sit back and watch other rappers take his spot,an thats what would happen if he was just dropping an album every 5 years.

Just cause he doesn't drop an album doesn't mean he wouldn't be an active rapper he prolly would of done more guestspots an promoted the outlaws more as well getting more artists to sign deathrow east an makaveli records ;) hell he could of gone on tour :)

but hold the fuck on, wasnt tupac all about makin paper?????. he was always in need for money so releasein lbums everyear would help him with his lawsuits and all the bitche in general that wanted to sue him. why would he work his ass off if the money never came. over 200 tracks made and 25 getting released every ten years?? am i missing somin here???. but i do remember him sayin he may have dropped an album evevy 2 years and even then he'd probably have it a double album with singles comin out every 3 months, so the album would be in rotation for 2 long years. one thing for sure what ever he released it would have been straight fire.

yea I thought on that interview he actually said 2 years ,maybe i'm wrong, coulda been 5, but I also heard somewhere that thats what all eyez on me was originally gonna be, he'd put it out and drop singles from it every couple months and do that for like 2-3 years while he's making movies, and have makaveli as his underground disc

well look at it this way, lets say he didnt die, and just stopped making music, that would mean he'd still have all the unreleased material he has now to release. now lets say he recorded 1 album every 2 years, wed have almost 4 albums on top of that unreleased material, if anything thered be more albums
