Where are all the 7 Day Theory producers today? Don't tell me they made some of the tightest beats I've ever heard in my life and then quit.

DK7 was basically done by dr's unknown in house producers & pac, pac used fuck around with the wack room producers at dr alot suge let them go.

When they were referred to as the "wack room" they were obviously underestimated, surely their phones should be fuckin ringing off the hook from people that want them to produce for them... right?

For what it’s worth edi (and one of the engineers if I remember) said Pac basically pre conceptualized every one of the beats (with the exception of Hail Mary I think) including the ones QDIII did. So maybe they really were crappy producers who just acted as facilitators for Pac.

That was the case for some of the beats but I'm pretty sure Hurt 'Em Badd did Hail Mary all by himself.

i can't believe they fell off the map like they did. i guest pac was a preconceptionist of the album. what a great vision he laid out and a good interpretation by hurt em badd & darryl harper & the 'wack room'. makaveli's my favorite pac album. somebody should be workin with these guys again though.

although the makaveli album is _so_ tight, and i hate to say this, their styles aren't very varied. i think i hear the same guitar playing a different melody in at least three beats on dk7. maybe that was their ultimate doom. maybe they're like cheap batteries - they work real nice but only for a short while.

Very True, for example, Krazy. Just Like Daddy, and white manz world. at the end of krazy it seems the guitar changes melody and then the track ends and then white mans world starts up with the same melody. i think they were meant to flow together like that.
