Well, i've got a massive test tomorrow (yes, my test is on a SATURDAY MORNING), and it's 1:09am now, the test is at 9:30am. I usually start my assignments around now (if it was due in tomorrow), and hand it in by the morning, but with tests i have to be fresh and stuff.
What i don't understand is the people that study in advance, the kids (god bless them), that study from day 1, as little as an hour a night yet they don't need to cram it all in at the end.
Today's been a day like any other friday night, went out for lunch with a friend, did some shopping, played spit (a card game) with my sister, went out, acting as if tomorrow will be like any other saturday, Everytime i tried to study, i'll just get sidetracked and end up doing something else (i do have ADD). ANything to deter me from studying. Now it's 1:14 in the morning, and i'm thinking of going to bed and studying an hour prior to the test.
For the midsemseter test for this same subject, i only did my studies in a 30minute bus trip to school. I somehow ended up getting the 2nd highest mark in the class, which really pissed off one of my mates because he prepared for the test a week or two in advance.
I generally cram it in in the end, but how does everyone else study? Problem is, i don't stress (AT ALL), worst case scenerio, i fail... it doesn't mean that the world is over.
With test's and exam i generally study the night before, or that morning, and i still manage to get decent marks. With assignments i just spin bullshit and pull an all nighter. Throw in a few buzz words and make it seem like i know what i'm talking about, and i end up getting a high mark for it. As long as you can back up everything you say with a journal or article then things seem to be all sweet. Throw in a few quotes and your laughing.
Anyway sorry for making this long, i think i'll go to bed. This is probably the earliest i've gone to bed in a LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONG while.
Anyway the questions are:
How do you generally complete your assignments?
how do you study for tests?
and if you can answer this one, how do people study in advance? really, i just can't do it, so i just don't understand it and I don't see the point.
