Yeah right...
Actually, yes right. The current games were developed on Dual G5s running nVidia chips and then alter inferior ATI chips.
Thats fact.
None of the games use all the cores or hardware to their max.
Thats fact.
Now, next round of games will look awsome.
The reason first gen Xbox games looked good is because basically, the Xbox was a PC so programers knew how to take advantage of it. The 360 is more of a console, in that it has exclusive technology, which makes it harder to program for. The same thing happened with the PS2, the first wave of games look shit compared to current games coming out, thats just the way things work, theres no yeah right or roll eyes about it. I cant even believe you'd dispute that fact.
By the time the PS3 launches, the 360 will have hit its stride, where as the PS3 will experiance the same thing the 360 is now, underpowered games, it always happens.
The only difference is that the PS3 will remain difficult to program for, the Playstations are always a bitch to code for, developers have said this, add in unstable and untested blueray technology and the cell and the PS3 will need a generation of games to catch up too, before it hits its stride.
But by then, the 360 will be in its third gen. Compare the graphics on Riddick to even the original Halo.
I bet you, by the time PS3 gamers begin to see maxed out games, Microsoft will release another console. Bill Gates is a snake like that.
