Hello Street Hop Family…
Silvermixmusic.com would like to share a rare Hip-Hop/Rap tribute mix featuring Biggie & 2pac with Nas holdin it down! Our gift FREE to you as part of our introduction to the “Street Hop” community.
2pac & Biggie both have very distinctive styles with a lot of street and it came directly from the heart. They both lived it, told it and unfortunately we lost them in hardcore “street” fashion.
I was in the Bay area when I listened to an interview with Biggie when he spoke about his trip to LA and he was asked if he was ok with going down to southern California with the so called “Beef” in effect. He said that he had been shown much love from people in LA and that he had no concerns…and then we lost him.
I was also in Vegas when 2pac was shot, I was in the MGM that day when for some reason there was a lot of tension that evening. After he was shot, the hospital reported that he was moved out of intensive care a day later and many celebs said that he was smiling and talking like nothing happened and then out of know where…we lost him too.
So this is what inspired me to make a mix for these two brothas and name it “So you wanna be Hardcore?” Just a little question to ask some of the Rappers and HipHop artist coming up now…I had to let go of the streets and I hope more young men will do the same before we loose more good people.
