Fler is set to release his 4th studio album on March 27th simply self titled Fler.
After a long year fighting what he says is himself and his demons Fler has switched to focusing solely on his music. "The Album is more intense, straight up and personal than my albums before, that's why its self titled Fler... It's 16 tracks! Every song a killer - no filler!"
The single and video for "Check Mich Aus (Check Me Out)" drops March 20th and the CD single will include bonus tracks. He is also preparing to hit the road shortly there after on a European Tour to promote the album.
"I have't been on the road for a minute! I miss the stage! The direct connection to fans and the love back from them at the shows is important to me. In the past in the rap game here, not much was said about the actual music, all that was talked about was chart positions and sales figures. I wanna change that, good music can also bring success, that's what I want to deliver. Every rapper should want success, otherwise he ain't a rapper to me.“
Fler is signed to music label Aggro Berlin, with whom he released a number of hit singles. Among them, "Neue Deutsche Welle", which peaked at 9th position on the German Top 100 charts as well as 3 consecutive top 10 albums.
