I don't see her as a bitch. Alot of teachers find it disrespectful when you leave in the middle of class while they are teaching. If I was a teacher I would prolly be pissed off also even tho in college you can come and go as you please. Some just don't care because if you fail their class you are just wasting your own money.

I rarely have problems with teachers since i've been in college but yeah, she sounds like a bitch. The thing is, she has the upper hand and she knows it. She already has her degree, and you're tryin to get yours. She's where you're trying to get to, and she wants to throw it in your face. So, do what you have to do, once you're finished you won't have to worry about teachers telling you what to do anymore.

So the teacher is saying that shit just to "rub her degree and qualifications into (carmi's) face"? That makes no sense, she has no need to. Doing that would serve no purpose at all. The teacher knows her qualifications, why on earth would she want to prove herself to a kid at school? Makes no sense to me.

This sounds like rude behaviour to me. If you walk out of the class without saying anything to the teacher it not only is disrespectful, but you are also undermining her authority. Maybe next time you should blame it on the fact that you walked out of there without saying shit to her

Here in Montreal, you have a right to come and go as you want in CEGEP, just like any University class. The teachers don't follow your ass around to discipline you. The responsibility is yours to stay or leave if you want. So, the teacher is wrong for assuming that she is dropping her class.

carmi, you're partially to blame, you been a disrespectful naughty girl. Not all teachers are the same. Some find sleeping in class disrespectful and some find it isn't. The same when leaving in the middle. Leaving in the middle could show signs of many different things. One of those signs is showing that you don't want to be there, that's why she assumed you don't really care for that class and that your ready to drop out. I know I would be disrespected if a person just walked out in the middle of my class, even if you have a right to. You're just signalling you don't care and that you don't want to be there.

So you need to go sit in the corner and think about what you did.

some teachers care, others dont. apparently this one said she cares and carmi must have missed it. some teachers are mean and they say things like, "why are u interupting the class to let me know you're going outside? you're an adult, if you have a reason to leave, do it. Dont bother the class with it."
