I'm feeling so intrigued by this, but I have no idea of what artists are the best or if french rap is well known or not... :confused: Actually I don't even know the name of many french rappers, just mc solaar (is that right?). I've just seen two french guys rapping on the french channel, but they didn't say their names!

So I'd really appreciate some sugestions! Thx in advance.

well its kinda hard to say for me who is the best... but if I had to choose I would start with Sniper, Shurik'n, Oxmo Puccino, ROHFF and Passi. Here are the names of the albums, so I can save you some trouble finding ;)

Sniper - Du Rire Aux Larmes

Oxmo Puccino - Le Cactus De Siberie
Passi - Odyssee
ROHFF - La Fierte Des Notres

Thx a lot for your suggestions, I've been listening to some of them and I had no idea french rap was that good. I liked IAM quite a lot, when I have more free time I'll check out the other artists you mentioned :thumb:

but even if french is my mother tongue, I dont listen to it as much as I

listen to American rap

Sinik's "une époque formidable" and "32 mesures de haine" r reaaal hot
